Leather & Canvas Bags

These vibrant woven canvas and buffalo leather bags are made for us in the Kathmandu Valley.  Water Buffalo hides are tanned by traditional natural processes, using bark and leaves. This creates a leather where the natural colours and textures shine through, giving each bag its own character. The tanners live in one of the areas worst affected by the earthquake of April 2015. These bags provide them with much needed employment and opportunity.
